Analytics, is owned and operated by Daniel J.
Denis, Ph.D. Dr. Denis specializes in statistical consulting across
various disciplines, such as the social sciences (psychology, sociology,
education), business, law, and health sciences. He has recently served
as consultant for the United States District Court in conjunction with
the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis, LLP, International. Dr. Denis provided
analyses of a survey instrument used to forecast juror opinion about a
high profile legal case, and gave expert testimony on the quality and psychometric/statistical
properties of the instrument. Dr. Denis completed this work in association
with Vinson & Company LLC, Jury & Trial Consulting firm, New York/Los
Angeles.
Dr. Denis is currently Assistant
Professor of Quantitative and Statistical Psychology at the University
of Montana. He also serves as Director of the Statistical Consulting Lab
in the Department of Psychology, where he also teaches advanced statistics
courses in multivariate statistics and decision analysis. He is a member
of the American
Statistical Association, Divisions of Statistical Consulting (CNSL)
and Survey Research Methods (SRMS), as well as a member of the Mathematical
Association of America and the Society
for Risk Analysis. Dr. Denis is also affiliated with the Business
Development Academy, where he teaches courses in statistics and quantitative
modeling to business and legal professionals across the United States.
Dr. Denis' professional interests
are centered on statistics, statistical consulting, quantitative methods,
psychometrics and testing, research design and methodology. He holds a
Ph.D. from York University in Toronto, Canada. He performs all work requested
of the firm, except on occasions where select tasks may be delegated to
part-time personnel hired by Dr. Denis on a contract basis. These part-time
personnel are motivated, ambitious professionals who have met or exceeded
Dr. Denis' extremely high standards for quality work.
Dr. Denis holds a Ph.D. from
York University, Toronto Canada.
